Chapter 151: Lin Su Receives a Confession

When she went out to assemble, Yu Qian saw Ge Lulu standing proudly among the girls from the next class, and her expression darkened slightly.

She really had changed.

Ge Lulu, who had just been ordering someone to fan her, turned her head and happened to catch Yu Qian staring at her. Her expression shifted instantly.

The shorty herself immediately jumped up: "You're the shorty! Your whole family is short!"

Chu Yuanyue turned her head and glared at him.

"I didn't mean to." The boy waved his hands in defense.

Lin Su poked her head out from behind Yu Qian, and upon seeing him, her expression changed: "Chen Jiuyi, are you looking for a beating?" With that, she sprang out and slapped him on the arm.

"Hiss!" The boy rubbed his arm, looking somewhat unhappy. "Lin Su, are you a shrew?"

"Hmph~ So what if I'm a shrew? None of your damn business." She rolled her eyes with a disdainful tone.

Chen Jiuyi suddenly darted over to her side, hooking his arm around her neck: "Hey, Lin Xiao-niang, I was your deskmate for three whole years after all. Can you be a bit nicer to me?"

Lin Su countered with a blow from her elbow to his stomach: "You haven't been nice to me, why should I be nice to you?"

"How was I not nice to you? Look at these past three years—I bought you food and drinks, and even accompanied you to play games."

Lin Su paused for a moment, a look of embarrassment crossing her face.

If he hadn't brought it up, she wouldn't have carefully considered how well Chen Jiuyi had actually treated her over the past three years as her deskmate.

Not wanting to disturb the two of them, Yu Qian pulled Chu Yuanyue away.

"Qianqian, why are we walking away?" Chu Yuanyue, completely oblivious to romantic matters, asked her blankly.

"They're a bickering couple. Why should we stay and act as lightbulbs?"

"Huh?" Chu Yuanyue looked even more blank. When on earth had those two hooked up?

"You blockhead!" Yu Qian chuckled and reached out to flick her forehead.

Chen Jiuyi wasn't a fool; he saw very clearly why Yu Qian had pulled people away, and he felt deeply grateful to her.

After all, he really didn't want anyone watching when he confessed his feelings.

Pulling Lin Su toward the grove at the edge of the drill field, he said, "Xiao-niang, come with me. I have something to tell you."

Lin Su sensed that something was happening, but it didn't feel like a bad thing. Finding no reason to refuse, she could only follow along quietly.

The boy walking in front sensed that she had no intention of resisting or refusing, and smiled secretly to himself.

Chen Jiuyi had been good to her, and she had occasionally wondered if he liked her. But every time she thought that way, the two of them would end up arguing over some trivial matter, making her feel like she was just being narcissistic.

And now, out of the blue, he was actually confessing to her!

"Then why the hell were you always so fierce to me?!" Lin Su instantly flared up, grabbing him by the ear and shouting, "Who the fuck told you that the way to pursue a girlfriend is by bullying her?!"

Caught completely off guard by her roaring, the boy promptly betrayed his accomplice: "Gu You!"
