After trading with Rongrong for two pieces of level 20+ gear, she immediately transferred them onto her gloves and belt. Watching her health soar in a straight line, Yu Qianle laughed gleefully.

Zhou Jingchen, who was browsing the marketplace for good items, heard her giggling and curiously propped his chin up to look over. “I’ve got over fifty thousand health now.”

He had wanted to tell her that he was playing the game well, but all he heard from her was boasting: “Go away, go away, so what if you have more health!”

He rubbed his nose, not daring to say she was impressive. At least she couldn’t kill him, so he retreated to continue shopping.

Unsure of what else to do next, Yu Qian idly flipped through the store’s costumes and mounts.

The artists in Yunzhou’s art department had a keen aesthetic sense; the monthly updates of costumes and mounts each had distinct features, and they didn’t neglect the game’s ancient setting, unlike in her previous life where many modern costumes appeared.

In other words, the Real Madrid jerseys, Halloween witches, and Christmas reindeer she had liked before but that clashed with the game’s background were absent.

Yu Qianle, who had been calmly trying on costumes, gasped when she saw the wedding dress. Grabbing Zhou Jingchen’s arm, she was so excited she choked: “Cough, cough cough… um… cough cough cough…”

“Slow down, don’t panic,” Zhou Jingchen said helplessly, patting her back to help her breathe.

Once she caught her breath, she pointed at the screen where the healer was wearing a red wedding dress and asked, “Isn’t this the design I gave my mom before?”

Looking up briefly, he replied, “Yeah, Wenxiu gave it to me. It’s a collaboration with Red Powder.”

“Ah? A collaboration?”

“At first, I wanted to negotiate cooperation with Red Powder since your company is truly the top in ancient costumes domestically. Wenxiu knew this and helped set up the connection. This is called the wedding dress; it’s the first collaboration piece, and there will be more later.”

“Wait, why didn’t you ask me to connect the deal instead of asking Wenxiu?” Yu Qianle’s focus shifted.

Zhou Jingchen felt both happy and amused. His adorable girlfriend was rarely jealous—and this time, she was jealous of Wenxiu. “If you helped, and later we ended up together, what if your uncle and aunt think I’m only with you for business? They might accuse me of trying to arrange a commercial marriage.”

“Then you’re not much different from Wenxiu. What if they think you’re Wenxiu’s boyfriend?”

Wenxiu, holding a water cup as she passed by, overheard Yu Qianle’s unreasonable quarrel and rolled her eyes. “Don’t drag me into your fights.”

Startled by the sudden female voice, the two turned their heads simultaneously. Wenxiu said, “I’m not interested in your Zhou Jingchen. When I introduced you to my godparents, I already said he was another investor in the studio.”

Realizing she had made a fuss for no reason, Yu Qianle quietly replied, “I understand.”

“I wondered why you two hadn’t started a protest yet. Turns out you’re just playing this misunderstanding game.” Taking a sip of water, Wenxiu cleared her throat. “Hurry up, I’m waiting to grab some stuff.”

“Ah? But Nuwa and the others aren’t around right now,” Yu Qianle asked, a little confused.

“That’s just a phone call away. I’ll go get them.” Wenxiu said before returning to her room.

Just as she closed the door, she opened it again, sticking her head out. “By the way, none of us have done the weekly dungeons yet. After the protest, let’s form a team to clear one. Once we know how to do it, it’ll be easier to teach others.”

“Half a year has passed, and you guys haven’t done a single dungeon?” Both Yu Qianle and Zhou Jingchen were astonished.

“You two were never around, and we got too caught up in fighting, completely forgetting about it.”

“Alright then…” Helpless, it seemed their planned time alone after the protest was dashed.

Turning to look at the quiet boy beside her, he smiled and said, “We haven’t finished buying everything. Once everyone in the guild logs on, we’ll go.”

Wenxiu gave an OK sign and nodded before retreating back to her room to make the call.

“Three cities, huh? Is there enough silver?”

“There is, don’t worry.”

Just to be safe, Zhou Jingchen placed a few more orders on the platform. He also collected recently listed treasures, keys, and gem essences from other players, and considering Yu Qianle’s outgoing pet’s temperament, he bought the secret manuals “Block Calamity: General” and “Illuminate Loyalty: General.”
