The young woman was charming and playful in appearance, yet ruthless and cold-hearted in action, showing no mercy at the slightest displeasure.

The strategist, having learned his lesson, quickly said, "Report to the chief, I only know how to release the net, but I do not know how to use it."

"Hehe, who would know?" The girl revealed her small tiger-like teeth and smiled darkly.

Seeing the girl’s smile, the strategist’s face turned paler than if he had seen a ghost, and he stammered hurriedly, "O-only the chief and the second leader know."

“Oh~ that means you’re useless now.” The girl’s smile faded, her gaze turning ice-cold.

“No, please—” The strategist sensed the murderous intent in her eyes and knew trouble was imminent. But before he could plead, the girl struck him down with a single palm.

‘Such ruthless methods!’ Mu Yu thought in surprise.

The girl then woke the second leader and forced him to reveal the technique to use the Immortal Binding Net.

The second leader glanced at the strategist’s corpse and shouted angrily, “Miss, do you know that the scale of Magu Ridge was not achieved by chance? There are people here you can’t afford to offend. I advise you, before you make a grave mistake, repent while you still can. Otherwise... hmph~”

The girl laughed heartily, trembling with excitement, “You really think I barged in blindly without understanding the situation? I know your chief is powerful, and he’s your own brother. So what? I saw him leave with my own eyes before coming to snatch your treasure. By the time he returns, I’ll be far away, free as the wind. Hehehehe~”

“You...” The second leader was momentarily speechless.

“Hehe~ nothing to say, huh? Just hand over the technique obediently, and I promise to spare your life. Otherwise, your death will be even more miserable than his~”

Her words revealed a fierce expression. Though still adorable, in the second leader’s eyes she was no less than a tigress.

“Is that true?” The second leader was half-doubtful, but the instinct to survive is strong.

“When Tiger Girl speaks, she never breaks her word.” Tiger Girl’s tone was resolute.

“Fine~” For the sake of his life, the second leader reluctantly pulled out a spatial pouch. Before he could open it, Tiger Girl snatched it away.

“This is my life’s savings, you...”

“You what? No matter how precious your savings are, are they worth more than your life?” Without waiting for him to continue, she knocked him unconscious with a palm—though she truly had no intention to kill him.

She then searched the strategist and the other two bodies thoroughly. There was nothing valuable except Mu Yu’s pair of Black Wind Boots, which made Tiger Girl’s eyes light up.

Mu Yu, seeing her about to claim his boots as spoils, hurriedly said, “These boots belong to me.”

Tiger Girl glanced at Mu Yu with disdain. “Who cares about your stinky boots? They really smell awful.”

With that, she tossed the Black Wind Boots back to Mu Yu. Embarrassed, he quickly put them on to avoid her contemptuous gaze.

After Tiger Girl finished counting the loot, she showed no intention of sharing and immediately strode off. Mu Yu hurried to follow.

Tiger Girl knew the way well and left Magu Ridge without any obstruction. Anyone who tried to stop her had been killed; along the way, all Mu Yu saw were corpses.

He gained a new understanding of Tiger Girl’s ruthlessness.

Of course, Mu Yu had no sympathy for those bandits either. If he were in her place, he might have acted the same. Especially since the strategist, out of greed for his boots, had ruthlessly cut out his tongue and even tried to eat it.

Such a group of cruel bandits deserved a hundred deaths.

When they descended the mountain, Tiger Girl immediately asked, “What about that big black ox? Why isn’t it with you?”

“Brother Meng returned to the tribe.”

“Hmph~ lucky for him.” For some reason, mentioning Meng Fang seemed to stir resentment in her.

“Miss Tiger Girl, why did you save us before, only to toy with us now?” This question had puzzled Mu Yu for a whole year.

Tiger Girl wrinkled her nose and said, “Because I felt like it.”

“Uh~” Mu Yu was left empty-handed.

Tiger Girl asked, “You’re traveling alone, where are you headed?”

“To Huyu City.” Huyu City was the nearest large city, though still a thousand miles away.

“Oh~ then we can travel together for a while. How did you get here?”

Mu Yu didn’t answer but let out a long, mournful cry to the sky. The forest responded with a crane’s call, and soon the Thousand-Mile Crane emerged from the trees.

When Mu Yu was ambushed before, the crane had fled alone in the chaos. So, upon descending the mountain, he tried calling it; surprisingly, it hadn’t gone far.

Tiger Girl looked at the crane and frowned slightly. “Thousand-Mile Crane! Why does it look unhealthy? Can it carry two people?”

“Two people?”

“What? You’re going to walk?”

Tiger Girl asked naturally.

Mu Yu shook his head. “No. It may not look strong, but I think it can carry two.”

Without hesitation, Tiger Girl leapt onto the crane’s back. “Let’s go.”

“Wait!” Mu Yu dashed to the roadside, pulled up a broken branch, and absorbed it into his body before flying up onto the crane’s back.

“Sit behind and behave, let’s go~”

“You pervert, how dare you touch my butt!”

“It’s not on purpose; there’s just not much room.”

“Hmph~ I think you’re doing it on purpose. You won’t sit back to back with me?”

“Sitting backward makes me dizzy.”

“What’s dizziness? Forget it, you come to the front. That way, we can both see clearly.”

“Oh~”

“Peach Blossom Eyes, what’s your name?”

“Mu Yu.”

“Such a common name,” she teased with a cheerful giggle.

Amidst her clear laughter, the two vanished like dust on the wind.

Several days later, on the trade route, the Thousand-Mile Crane sped along swiftly.

“Truly worthy of being a mid-grade spiritual artifact. If the chief used it, even I might not escape his net.”

Tiger Girl skillfully manipulated the Immortal Binding Net, capturing an eagle flying overhead, then releasing it. But before it could fly far, she ensnared it again.

Watching her expertly control the net, Mu Yu envied silently. “How did you find out about such a treasure in Magu Ridge?”

“Hehe~ I gathered all the bandits’ information along the way. Magu Ridge is a rather famous group of tough men, and this Immortal Binding Net is their most renowned item. I had my eyes on it for a long time and finally got this chance.”

“Is the chief of Magu Ridge very powerful?”

“Of course. Mid Nascent Soul stage—do you think he’s not powerful?”

“Ah! Then you still dared to steal from him!”

“What’s there to fear? He can’t outrun me. Giggling~”

Mu Yu was speechless.

“Wait~ Seven Star Slope ahead.”

“Seven Star Slope?”

“A bandit den!”

“What do you plan to do?”

“Rob them, of course! How can we not rob those robbers?”

“.”

“What did you say?”

“Uh~ nothing, can I just not go?”

“Of course not. You’re my little brother. How can you not come?”

Mu Yu had no idea when he had become her subordinate.

They dismounted the Thousand-Mile Crane and released it into the forest, then sneaked quietly to a valley.

On a hillside of the valley was a camp, much smaller in scale than Magu Ridge.

“What’s your plan?” Mu Yu asked, lying on the hilltop.

“To deal with these petty thieves, what plan is needed? Just rob them directly~”

“What did you say~!?”

Mu Yu looked at the comings and goings of the crowd, feeling a chill run down his spine.

Though small in scale, there were still several hundred people. Fighting so many was dangerous; even without magical artifacts, a volley of arrows could turn them into a sieve.

“What? Seven Star Slope has seven leaders, only one is a Nascent Soul expert. The others are no threat. We’ll drop right into their main tent from the air. You just guard the entrance and don’t let anyone in. The rest is up to me.”

“I can’t fly that high,” Mu Yu murmured.

“What? You can’t fly that high?”

Mu Yu’s voice was barely audible. “I can only fly twenty or thirty meters high, and only five or six miles before I get exhausted.”

Tiger Girl was astonished. “Why? Is your flying artifact no good? But those boots you wear are a high-grade Daoist artifact.”

“It’s not the artifact. I’ve just never learned the flying technique well,” Mu Yu said even more quietly.

“Ah~! You can’t even learn to fly? How are you not dead from stupidity? Are you a pig?”

Tiger Girl’s words would surely find agreement from some great beauties.
