At the deepest part of the underground cavern, the demonic aura was extraordinarily dense. Qin Feng had no choice but to coat the surface of his body with the power of flames to resist the invasive demonic energy. He quickened his pace, hoping to catch up with the lecherous toad and slay it as soon as possible.

When he caught up again, the lecherous toad, having been reverted to its original form by Qin Feng’s strike, was thoroughly subdued. Its only option now was to flee for its life!

Even so, the toad’s vital blood was diminishing imperceptibly. Clearly terrified by Qin Feng’s relentless pursuit, it resorted to a blood escape technique, sacrificing its life essence just to break free from the chase.

Its speed increased significantly, like a streak of blood flashing past in an instant.

Qin Feng’s heart grew anxious. His greatest strength lay in burst power; prolonged pursuit was his weakness. Yet, lacking better options, he pressed on desperately.

The chase continued—one fleeing, one pursuing—deeper into the demonic cavern.

Before them, there was only one color: black.

Nothing was visible—only an abyss of darkness, everything consumed by the thick, viscous demonic aura like water.

The entire underground world emitted a suffocating heaviness.

The demonic aura thickened relentlessly. Flames on Qin Feng’s body surface burned through the aura, crackling irritatingly, heightening his unease.

Danger loomed ever larger.

The Celestial Demon appeared once more, blinking its demonic eyes as it surveyed the surroundings with palpable apprehension.

“Qin Feng, be extremely careful. If the situation worsens, leave immediately!”

It was the first time Qin Feng had seen such concern in the Celestial Demon. What could inspire such fear in a creature famed as one of the seventy-nine ancient Heaven-Slaying Mystic Artifacts? Qin Feng did not know, though the answer might be right before him.

They were close now.

The blood light the lecherous toad had transformed into was feeble, clearly on the brink of vanishing due to the tremendous energy consumption from the blood escape.

But Qin Feng refused to give up, gritting his teeth and continuing the pursuit.

As the distance narrowed, the cavern gradually approached its deepest end.

Qin Feng swung his heavy weapon, striking a massive black stone with force. Using the recoil, he swiftly advanced and, at the moment he scooped the faint red glow into his fiery palm—

Suddenly, the dim blood-red light burst ablaze!

It seemed to muster its last breath, accelerating slightly.

Yet that small burst rendered all Qin Feng’s efforts futile.

The blood light, no larger than a grain of rice, vanished completely in an instant.

Before him lay a dense, water-like black mist, enveloping the entire cavern’s depths.

He could not see his hand before his face; even his spiritual senses were rendered useless.

The black mist spun continuously, its core a one-meter-wide black hole at the cavern’s deepest point.

The hole was profoundly dark, devoid of any light.

It resembled a colossal vortex, endlessly devouring all things in the world.

The suction was immense.

Qin Feng felt that if he took even one step forward, he would be forcibly drawn into this mysterious and terrifying demonic pit.

Suddenly, an overwhelming fear gripped him—a sensation unlike anything before—like standing at the very gates of hell, a realm of death. All who entered were destined to vanish without a trace, buried nowhere.

Even the Celestial Demon shrank back, closing its eyes in fright, silently urging Qin Feng to flee this cursed place.

“Where exactly does this lead?”

Qin Feng knew the blood light the toad had transformed into had entered this enigmatic cavern. To kill it, he would have to venture into this dreadful demonic pit.

Using his Purple Heaven Eyes, Qin Feng cautiously observed.

The demonic aura’s intense barrier severely limited his vision; he could only make out some details around the entrance.

Yet what he saw stunned him.

There was a golden talisman and seven egg-shaped objects. The blood light had entered one of these eggs.

Qin Feng ceased using his Purple Heaven Eyes, his expression unsettled.

If his guess was correct, the golden talisman was an ancient seal, likely the very thing restraining the entrance to this demonic hole.

“What kind of existence inside this cave could cause such a commotion?”

“And what of those seven eggs?”

Even stranger, the seven eggs were of seven different colors and varied shapes:

Black, white, gold, purple, blood-red, green, and cyan!

The lecherous toad had not entered the cavern itself but had used the demonic pit’s powerful suction to slip into one of the eggs—specifically, the white one.

The white egg was an upright oval, about a person’s height, translucent with a white aura that shielded it from the demonic energy’s corrosion. Despite the black mist’s suction, it remained perfectly still.

Yet now, a bloodstain marked its surface—left by the toad. The blood had seeped inside, indicating the toad had fused with the white egg by some special method.

“But why would the toad choose this egg?”

Qin Feng was puzzled.

The other six eggs lay in various states—some horizontal, some spiked and bizarre, others large and spherical. The smallest was the blood-colored egg, only palm-sized but radiating tremendous power. The largest and most prominent was the black egg.

This black egg was pitch black, spherical, polished, deep and gleaming, and so enormous that it alone exceeded the combined size of all the others.

It sat furthest inside the cavern entrance.

Qin Feng narrowed his eyes.

“Could it be that the white egg is the most beautiful?” He knew the toad was lustful, so choosing a “prettier” egg might make sense. But he quickly dismissed this theory, as the white egg was positioned nearest the entrance. The toad, panicked and desperate, likely crashed into this egg without choice.

“Hmph, you think hiding inside an egg will save you?”

Qin Feng’s gaze darkened.

He plunged his hands into the cavern wall and dug out a massive black stone, hurling it forward.

The rock was a probe.

As soon as it left his hand, the strong suction seized it, pulling it into the cavern. Before it even reached the hole, a deep roar from within shattered it to pieces.

“Hiss!”

Qin Feng sucked in a breath.

“What the hell was that roar?”

Earlier, he had glimpsed a green shadow at the entrance, which vanished instantly.

Had it not been for the Purple Heaven Eyes, he would never have noticed.

“Could it be the thing sealed by that golden talisman?”

Setting aside what this demon might be, the suction grew stronger the deeper one went. At his current cultivation level, Qin Feng could barely withstand it. The thick demonic aura at the entrance could even infiltrate his body, causing spiritual chaos at best, outright explosion at worst!

It was perilous beyond measure.

Qin Feng’s eyes flickered.

“Why aren’t you leaving? The longer you stay, the worse it gets!”

The Celestial Demon was truly anxious now, blinking rapidly. It seemed to be avoiding something, casting a wary glance into the black mist and sternly warning him.

But in that glance, the Celestial Demon inadvertently caught sight of the seven mysterious eggs.

“Eh?!”

“Those seven eggs look familiar...!”

Suddenly, the Celestial Demon was ecstatic.

Ignoring the danger, its voice trembled with excitement: “Qin Feng, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. No matter the cost, you must try to obtain one of those eggs!”

For once, the Celestial Demon did not urge retreat but encouraged risk.

Qin Feng: “...!”

“Crazy. Even the Celestial Demon has gone mad!”
