Chapter Four: Rescuing My Sister

Qin Yu carried Qin Mianmian in his arms and, under the hotel staff’s curious glances, checked into a room. After laying Qin Mianmian gently on the bed, Qin Yu took her pulse. The moment he did, a murderous intent flashed in his eyes.

Her body was frail to the extreme, her immunity weakened by years of malnutrition, and there were early signs of kidney failure from her time serving drinks in nightclubs. Without hesitation, Qin Yu produced a set of silver needles.

Tianchi, Baihui, Guanyin...

Seven needles fell, and Qin Yu watched as color slowly returned to her face.

Qin Mianmian gazed at Qin Yu, tears sliding silently down her cheeks. She had been alone in the world for so many years, with no one to rely on. Qin Yu was her only relative, her sole support.

“Brother,” she whispered.

Qin Yu grasped her hand, gently brushed her forehead, and smiled, “Rest here for now. I’ll go buy some herbs and make you medicine.”

“Hurry back, brother. I’m... scared,” she said softly.

Qin Yu nodded, smiling, and turned to leave the hotel.

But shortly after he left, Li Xiong arrived with a gang of men. With the Li family’s influence in Haishi, finding someone was all too easy—especially since Qin Yu hadn’t bothered to hide his whereabouts. Under Li Xiong’s threats, the receptionist revealed their room number.

The group crowded outside the door. Staring at it, Li Xiong gritted his teeth, “The master said, two fists can’t beat four hands. Don’t be afraid, everyone. Once we rush in, tackle Qin Yu together. There’s so many of us—what are we scared of?”

He tried to sound tough, but everyone noticed his trembling legs.

Meanwhile, Qin Yu, anxious about his sister’s condition, hurried back with the herbs. Suddenly, from a secluded corner on the street, he heard a faint cry for help.

Curious, he went over and found a middle-aged man lying in a pool of blood. When the man saw Qin Yu, he feebly reached out, “Young man, please... help me...”

With those few words, his strength gave out and his hand dropped to the ground.

Qin Yu immediately took out his silver needles and plunged them into key points on the man’s body.

After a quick examination, he discovered multiple deep stab wounds—bone-deep, clearly meant to kill. Blood soon stopped flowing, and Qin Yu called for an ambulance before hurrying away.

Upon returning to the hotel, the receptionist recognized Qin Yu at once and, flustered, hurried over with a slip of paper. “Mr. Qin, please wait! Someone asked me to give you this. He said he’s taken your sister.”

The word “taken” sent a cold gleam flashing through Qin Yu’s eyes.

The receptionist, an ordinary person unused to such a chilling aura, cried out in fright and stumbled to the floor.

Realizing his lapse, Qin Yu retrieved the note, smiled apologetically, and returned to his room.

He unfolded the note. The message read:

If you want to save your sister, come to the abandoned factory in the north of the city. —Li Xiong

A murderous glint flashed in Qin Yu’s eyes as he tore the note to shreds.

“Since you wish for death, I’ll grant your wish.”

He strode out of the room.

Just as he stepped into the corridor, he collided with a woman, knocking her to the ground. He quickly reached out to help her up.

“Sorry, I didn’t see you. Are you all right?”

But as his hand touched her wrist, his expression changed—he sensed an illness lurking deep within her body, though it had not yet manifested.

Right now, his only concern was his sister. He had no time to worry about the health of a stranger.

Seeing that Qin Yu was about to leave, the woman chased after him, pointing at his nose and berating him, “What kind of person are you? You knock me over, help me up, and think all is well? Where are your manners?”

“You seem fine. I have urgent business. If you feel unwell, wait here for me to return.”

“What kind of talk is that? You’re the one who’s unwell! Your whole family is unwell!”

Qin Yu couldn’t be bothered to argue. He stepped into the elevator and left.

At the city’s abandoned factory, night had fallen by the time Qin Yu arrived.

As soon as he approached, a group of people emerged.

“So you’re Qin Yu? They say you’re tough. Let’s see just how tough you really are!” With that, they charged at him.

Qin Yu had no intention of fighting them. He simply flicked out his silver needles.

The needles pierced their bodies, and in moments, they all collapsed, paralyzed, watching helplessly as Qin Yu strode over them.

He pushed open the factory doors.

Qin Mianmian lay unconscious on the ground, surrounded by men in black.

Li Xiong sauntered out, grinning smugly.

“Qin Yu, aren’t you supposed to be amazing? I want to see just how amazing. I’ve prepared thirty men for you. As they say, two fists can’t beat four hands. If you kneel and beg, I’ll let her go. Otherwise...” Li Xiong paused, leering at the unconscious Qin Mianmian. “She’s quite the beauty. Once she’s back at the club, when she’s used up, we’ll sell her organs—a tidy sum.”

“Oh? That’s quite an idea,” Qin Yu replied with a cold smile.

Li Xiong looked at him, shocked to discover that Qin Yu had somehow appeared right before him, and all thirty men lay on the ground.

“How... how did you—?”

“Ask the King of Hell yourself.”

With a single wave of his hand, Qin Yu sent Li Xiong’s head rolling to the floor.

Still unsatisfied, he kicked the corpse aside.

“Brother...” Qin Mianmian’s weak voice reached his ears.

He rushed to her side, checked her condition, and sighed in relief—it was only a sedative.

Scooping her up, he hurried back to the hotel.

There, standing before his door, was the very woman he’d encountered earlier.

“Why are you still here?” he asked.

Ignoring him, she fixed her gaze on the unconscious Qin Mianmian in his arms.

“You pervert! What did you do to her? You beast! Let her go!”
