In a cozy little house in Linlang Town.
A pair of tender, fair little feet swayed playfully in the air. A pink-cheeked, mixed-race toddler wearing a blue T-shirt lay on the large bed, his emerald-like eyes glued to the computer screen as he giggled incessantly.
"Fire, what's going on with the shampoo in the bathroom?"
The little boy quickly covered his mouth, shut the webpage, and performed a graceful tumble, landing steadily on his feet. He trotted over to the woman on his short legs, his face full of innocence. "What's wrong?"
"The scent seems different." Yu Jin lowered her head, thoughtful. Could something be wrong with her sense of smell?
A cunning glimmer flashed across the boy’s lips. Of course it was different; it was something he had spent a long time developing. It not only nourished the hair but also had a soothing, calming effect.
"Really?" The boy smiled with an air of composure, took her hand, and changed the subject. "Mommy, is it really okay for you to just lounge around and freeload at home every day?"
Yu Jin’s mouth twitched. Why did that sound like she was just waiting to die?
"As long as there's enough money, what's wrong with lounging around?"
"But if things keep going like this, the money Uncle Charles gave us will be squandered!" Fire complained. Was his mommy a little too good at enjoying life? They had been back in the country for a week, and he had already found a school and attended a few days of classes, yet Mommy hadn't even looked for a job!
To be precise, she had no intention of looking for a job at all!

Yu Jin frowned and thought about it. It seemed her precious boy had a point; the savings would run out eventually.
"We can't rely on Uncle Charles's handouts forever, can we?" Fire said earnestly, holding her hand and launching into a lecture.
The scene was as incongruous as it could be, but Yu Jin didn't see anything wrong with it. She nodded. "I suppose I should have a professional skill."
"Look here, these are the resumes I’ve submitted for you to several companies. You should prepare well when you have the time." Fire opened the resumes on the tablet with the air of a little adult. Yu Jin felt a bit flattered.
"You did all of these? Isn't that a bit too extraordinary?" Yu Jin swallowed hard. Was his genetic makeup just too good?
"Small case!" The little boy puffed out his small chest, looking proud and arrogant.
Yu Jin conceded, her gaze scanning the list of companies until it suddenly froze, as if she had been struck by a paralysis spell.
"What's wrong, Mommy?"
"This... Air Group... I can't work there, can I?" Yu Jin gave a dry laugh, her expression extremely unnatural.
"Oh, women are so fussy. Why can't you work at Daddy's company?" Fire looked at her with disdain.
"He'll tear me to pieces..." Yu Jin shrank her head back like a child, as if a pair of dark green eyes were locked onto her right now. The feeling made her inexplicably breathless.

"He won't, he won't. With me around, he wouldn't dare!" The little treasure said with an air of dominance, patting her hand to signal her to stay calm.
Ever since Fire could remember, Yu Jin had never hidden the truth about his biological father from him. Fire often lamented the irony of fate—why did he have to be the illegitimate son of Dongfang She, the number one playboy in G City?!
"It’s precisely because you’re around that he’ll tear me to pieces..." Yu Jin looked troubled. If that man ever found out that after she had played him, she had also secretly given birth to his child...
"Mommy! You're so timid it's embarrassing! So what if you turned his life upside down, stole one of his seeds, and ran away? It’s no big deal!"
"..."
Was that really not a big deal?
"If he knew that this seed of his, currently wandering in the wild, is not only talented and handsome, but also of excellent character and superhuman intelligence, he'd wake up laughing even in his sleep!"
"..."
