Left with no choice, Yu Jin went back downstairs to make another cup of milk. Along the way, she ran into the group of gossiping women, brandished the cup in her hand, and gave a wicked smirk. "The CEO hasn't had enough; he wants a refill!"
The group was left in a daze.
"Where is my breakfast?" Dongfang She crossed his legs, that effortless, elegant air of a playboy radiating from within him.
"Breakfast?" Did I sign up to be responsible for your breakfast? Yu Jin looked entirely innocent.
Dongfang She’s brow darkened, and a storm seemed to be brewing. "Didn't you say you would take responsibility for me and look after my diet? Does breakfast not count as part of one's diet?"
Yu Jin froze, a chill crawling up from the soles of her feet.
"I'm hungry." Dongfang She narrowed his eyes, his fingers tapping lightly against the tabletop. Although the sound was faint, Yu Jin felt as if every tap resonated deep within her heart.
"I... I'll go buy some right now!"
"I don't eat Chinese food."
"Then what do you want to eat?"
"What do you think?"
"Sandwiches? Mousse? Toast? Foie gras?"
"A sandwich will do."
"Fine."

Fortunately, Dongfang She was genuinely hungry and not just trying to give her a hard time. Yu Jin received her orders and dashed to the building across the street to buy breakfast, rushing back fifteen minutes later.
Dongfang She looked at the pile of dessert boxes in her hands and raised an eyebrow in surprise. "I can't eat all of this."
Yu Jin desperately wanted to roll her eyes at him, but she forced herself to restrain the urge and said with a touch of sarcasm, "CEO Dongfang has a small appetite; this little woman understands. These aren't all for you—I’ve been so busy serving you that I haven't had breakfast myself!"
Dongfang She’s lips twitched. It was rare to see this witty side of her. He stretched out his long legs and moved over to the sofa so they could eat breakfast together.
Within just a few minutes, Dongfang She had finished his sandwich and a cup of hot milk. He frowned as he watched her licking her fingers, and a sudden dryness took hold in his throat.
This woman was lethal!
Just the simple act of her licking her fingers was enough to stir a reaction in him!
"I want some of that, too." Dongfang She’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he pointed to the matcha mousse in her hand.
Yu Jin narrowed her eyes, reluctantly tossing her food toward him. To her surprise, he didn't reach out to take it.
"My hand hurts."
His hand hurts?
Why would his hand hurt?
Yu Jin clearly didn't believe him. "If you want to eat, use your own hands. Otherwise, just watch me eat."
With that, she licked her fingers again, not forgetting to smack her lips.

Dongfang She’s eyes grew dim; this girl truly knew how to be a torment.
"The doctor said the pain in my lower body would spread. First my hand, then maybe all my muscles will start to ache, and eventually, I might even suffer from muscle atrophy..."
Yu Jin: "..."
Fine, you win. I'll feed you, okay!
Yu Jin took the matcha mousse from the box, specifically found a small spoon, scooped up a morsel, and held it to his lips. Dongfang She was clearly pleased, opening his mouth to accept it.
He chewed, frowned, chewed again, then opened his mouth and spat it out. "What the hell is this?!"
Yu Jin looked innocent. "It's mousse!"
"It tastes like it’s gone bad."
"No way?" Half-doubting him, Yu Jin scooped up a small bit with the same spoon, put it in her mouth, and tasted it, looking perplexed. "It hasn't."
Watching her eat his saliva without the slightest hesitation, Dongfang She felt his spirits soar. He hooked an arm around her small frame, pulling her into his lap, and took advantage of her surprise to plant a quick kiss on her fair, tender cheek.
"You!" Caught off guard and ambushed once again, Yu Jin’s face flushed red.
"That’s what you call 'mutual support in adversity,'" Dongfang She said, looking completely composed, as if his logic were perfectly sound.
