If the outside world learned that President Dongfang had unexpectedly become impotent, Fire could already imagine the stunned, disbelieving, and gleeful expressions on everyone’s faces! At last, the world had been rid of a major menace!
“Hmm... That sounds pretty serious. You have to take good care of Daddy and do your best to help him regain his virility soon!” Fire patted Yu Jin’s hand meaningfully.
Yu Jin: “...”
Why had both of them said exactly the same thing?
“Oh, right, Mommy. Uncle Derek called,” Fire suddenly remembered, his face lighting up with delight.
“Derek?” Yu Jin asked in surprise. “Why would he call?”
Derek was a doctor Yu Jin had met in the United States. He was good friends with Charles. Two years earlier, when Fire had accidentally taken some medicine and suffered a persistent high fever, it was Charles who had begged Derek to help. Fire had stayed at Derek’s place for several days and met some of his friends there. He was very fond of Derek, but after something happened, Yu Jin had taken her child and left.
Nearly two years had passed since they had last seen each other.
Why had Derek suddenly called? Could something urgent have happened?
“Uncle Derek said he’ll be coming to G City in a while and will stop by to see me! Don’t worry, Mommy. Uncle Derek likes you. He won’t hurt you!” Fire waved his hand, looking so much like a little adult that Yu Jin was left speechless.
It wasn’t as though he would hurt her for no reason!
“What is he coming to G City for?”
“To chase a woman, of course!”
Yu Jin broke into a cold sweat and was rendered completely speechless.

“You have class tomorrow, don’t you? Hurry up, wash up, and go to bed. Why are you watching a soap opera?”
“Mommy! I’m watching it to keep you company, okay? I don’t even like soap operas!”
“I’m watching it to keep you company”?
Yu Jin was covered in black lines. Hadn’t he learned that phrase from soap operas too?
The next morning, Yu Jin arrived at the company fifteen minutes early. She wiped down President Dongfang’s desk, then wiped her own.
She went downstairs to the pantry and began brewing coffee while heating some milk.
“Oh, isn’t this Secretary Yu?” someone called out.
Yu Jin yawned and glanced at the newcomer. It was one of the young women from the secretary’s office, though they were not particularly familiar with each other.
“Are you making coffee for the president?” the woman asked.
Yu Jin nodded, then shook her head. “No, I’m making it for myself.”
“Huh? Then...” The woman pointed at the milk. “Is that for the president?”
Yu Jin looked at her exaggerated expression in surprise. “Yes. What’s wrong?”
“Oh my God! No way! The president doesn’t drink milk! How could he possibly?” The woman made such a commotion that, before long, nearly everyone from the secretary’s office had gathered around.
Yu Jin’s eyebrow twitched. What was going on?

When Secretary Jin saw Yu Jin and heard what the others were saying, she immediately grabbed Yu Jin and began questioning her from every angle. “Xiao Jin, are you sure the president drank it?”
Yu Jin looked bewildered. “Of course. He drank it. He’s been drinking it for several days now!”
Someone ran over to inspect the brand of the powdered milk being prepared and shook her head. “Impossible. This brand isn’t even imported. The president is so particular—he would never drink it. Secretary Yu, you must be making this up.”
Yu Jin was puzzled. Do I have any reason to lie to you?
She took the coffee and milk and silently went upstairs without saying another word.
When she entered the office, Dongfang She was already there. Dressed in an Armani suit, he was as pleasing to the eye as anyone could possibly be. Yu Jin muttered under her breath, “What a show-off,” then handed him the milk.
“Whose coffee is that?” Dongfang She’s voice was slightly hoarse, though it did nothing to diminish his handsome, chiseled appearance.
“Mine.”
“Weren’t you the one who said drinking coffee first thing in the morning was bad for your health?”
“...”
(My best friend said yesterday that the name Dongfang She is too difficult to recognize. QAQ Have any readers mistaken it for Dongfang He or Dongfang Hao? Sob... Chili Pepper is here to clarify: the arrogant, scheming President Dongfang’s full name is spelled Dongfang She, pronounced with the fourth tone. Don’t misread it, okay? I’ll keep acting cute and begging for your support and collections~~ Meow~)
