Xing Haotian’s eyes flickered slightly as they fell upon the icy-cold Wei Zi standing beside him. How he wished he could declare that he was here to drop off his wife! Unfortunately, Wei Zi would undoubtedly give him a freezing look and gnash her teeth at him.

Yet, he was equally reluctant to say he was just dropping off a friend, feeling that doing so would be forcing a deliberate detachment from Wei Zi. Thus, changing the subject, Xing Haotian asked, "Well, I wonder if Counselor Sheng is here?"

"Ah, Yanan, come here, let me introduce you. This is my granddaughter, Sheng Yanan. From now on, you'll be roommates, so you must get along harmoniously and take care of one another!" Counselor Sheng said earnestly.

The moment Wei Zi saw the other person, her pupils shrank slightly, and a thought arose in her heart: *So it’s her!*

Both she and Zhou Xiaoya had to tilt their heads up at a forty-five-degree angle to look at this girl. If not for the fact that she wore her hair in a short, ear-length crop, they might have doubted her gender altogether.

Her height must have been close to one hundred and eighty centimeters!

Not only that, but her outfit—a ribbed tank top, camouflage pants, and military boots—was virtually identical to the attire Xing Haotian wore when he went out for workouts. Worn by this young woman, it radiated an overwhelming aura of masculine vigor.

"H-Hello, my name is Zhou Xiaoya, nice to meet you!" Zhou Xiaoya reached out and shook hands with her.

"Wei Zi!" Wei Zi also extended her hand. The moment their hands met, Wei Zi felt the thick calluses on Sheng Yanan’s palms—the kind born from frequent horizontal bar workouts or rigorous marksmanship training. Moreover, from just a single handshake, Wei Zi could sense the formidable power hidden within the other girl's muscles.

This Sheng Yanan possessed a strength of at least two hundred kilograms!

What a terrifying girl!

Of course, Wei Zi knew that the girl’s terrifying nature did not end there.

Sheng Yanan was destined to become the youngest female general in the Huatian Kingdom, promoted to Major General at the tender age of twenty-six!

Though still trailing a bit behind Xing Haotian—who had reached Major General at twenty-one and Lieutenant General at twenty-six—she was undeniably powerful enough in her own right as the youngest female general.

Back then, this female general had served as Marshal Xing Haotian’s right-hand person!

Furthermore, she bore the formidable moniker of the Iron Female Warrior!

"My name is Sheng Yanan. If anyone bullies you in the future, just tell me, and I'll protect you!" Sheng Yanan looked at the two girls, who looked as delicate and fragile as flower buds, and naturally blurted out those words!

"Heehee, alright, alright! Having someone to cover me right as I arrive at school!" Zhou Xiaoya agreed with a smile. With her gentle personality, petite figure, and sweet face, she was indeed a flower in need of protection.

As for Wei Zi, she naturally expressed her thanks, though inwardly she didn't believe she needed any protecting. Still, having someone else to look out for Zhou Xiaoya wouldn't hurt. Of course, whether that would actually happen depended on how the three of them got along moving forward; it was far too early to say for now.

After introductions with Sheng Yanan were complete, they set about tidying up the dormitory.

The dormitory conditions at First University were quite decent. It was a three-person room with bunk beds; desks for books and computers were set up underneath, and lockers stood directly opposite the beds.

Sheng Yanan had arrived an hour early. She had already mopped the floor, swept and wiped the dust from all three beds, and cleaned the place until it was spotless. As a young woman steeped in military life for years, Sheng Yanan was truly an exemplary soldier against whom no fault could be found.

"Wei Zi, go change your clothes first, I'll make your bed for you!" Xing Haotian said, pulling a dress out of his backpack. Wei Zi had attended the shareholders' meeting yesterday wearing formal evening wear, and when she left this morning, she had changed back into her old clothes. While those clothes couldn't exactly be called tattered and worn, they certainly weren't anything special, and Wei Zi could even faintly smell a musty odor coming from them.

Wei Zi originally didn't want Xing Haotian to tidy up for her, but with his height of one hundred and ninety centimeters planted right there, he didn't even need to step onto the upper bunk to easily organize her living space. After a moment of thought, Wei Zi couldn't be bothered to argue and simply walked inside the dormitory to change her clothes.

Zhou's father and mother were still looking to help out when they saw Xing Haotian open his backpack and pull out a brand-new mattress, its dimensions matching the bed frame down to the millimeter. Clearly, Xing Haotian had done his homework thoroughly.

Mattress, bedsheets, quilt, pillow—Xing Haotian worked at lightning speed. Having risen through the ranks from a lowly private to a general, he had at least a decade of experience when it came to military barrack organization.

Even though Wei Zi's quilt and other items were soft, once laid down, there wasn't a single crease. Simple and neat, the task was polished off by Xing Haotian in a mere three minutes.

Zhou's parents stood by dumbfounded, and even Sheng Yanan at the side gazed at him with somewhat fixed eyes.

Afterward, Xing Haotian continued pulling items from his backpack. A computer, a water bottle, and cosmetics were successively placed neatly on the desk beneath Wei Zi's bed. By the time Wei Zi emerged from the bathroom after changing her clothes, she saw the tall and imposing General Xing actually rummaging through her locker, hanging up her clothes piece by piece.

"I'll do it!" Wei Zi’s sharp eyes caught Xing Haotian about to pull a flash of white from the spatial backpack—it was the color of her undergarments.

"No need, Wei Zi, I'll be done in a second!" Xing Haotian said in a gentle, coaxing tone.

Wei Zi hurriedly stepped forward to block Xing Haotian, glaring at him angrily as she lowered her voice, "Pervert!" With that, she snatched the spatial backpack right out of his hands and shoved it directly into the locker.

Xing Haotian realized what had happened a beat too late, his face burning with heat. Yet with Wei Zi standing so close to him now, he could clearly catch the faint, alluring fragrance emanating from her body.

"I-I forgot!" Xing Haotian said awkwardly, his mind beginning to wander.

Wei Zi continued to cast a grumpy look his way, causing Xing Haotian's heart to race and his blood to course faster. Yet, having not quite finished cleaning up for Wei Zi yet, he felt an odd reluctance to stop.

"Wei Zi, I put some toiletries and bath towels in that pouch over there. Don't forget to take them out when you need them!"

At this moment, Xing Haotian bore no resemblance to a strict and dignified general; instead, he acted like an anxious mother fussing over every little detail. The thought of Wei Zi living at school and far away from him filled him with a thousand worries.

"And there's some fruit—remember to eat it every day!"

Without her specialized nutritional meals, eating some spiritual fruits would at least help meet Wei Zi's energy requirements.

Wei Zi truly wished she had a needle to sew Xing Haotian's mouth shut. But with so many people present, it was hard for her to say much, so she simply invented an excuse to put a stop to his nagging.

"Stop chatting here. Look how tired Auntie is; go help Xiaoya make her bed instead!" Wei Zi said naturally.

"Oh, right!" Xing Haotian hurried over, ushering Zhou Xiaoya's mother down from the upper bunk. Reaching it effortlessly with his height, he made the bed without any trouble at all.

"No, no, no need! General Xing, please take a rest, I can finish this up in no time!" How could Zhou's mother ever dare let General Xing help make a bed? He was a general of the Huatian Kingdom, a man who could effortlessly slay desolate beasts that threatened humanity! For a person of such stature—let alone making a bed—even if he were to lie down and sleep, others ought to be the ones tucking him in!
